Homosexuality has existed for as long as humans have. In these modern times, homosexual couples can have children: so if that were true, it wouldn’t do any much good to the world’s overpopulation if all persons are homosexual. This is because the ones that would love to procreate would surely find a way around it and procreate.
Nature’s way to control population is death, not homosexuality. Nature doesn’t care about whether you live or not. What do you think of homosexuality? You think of it as a new concept that just came into existence? That being said, homosexuality is one of the most difficult questions to answer in evolutionary theory. I must admit I have no idea why homosexuality exists in evolutionary terms.
