Under the pressure of the risk of illness generated by covid 19 pandemic, the majority of the population has radically changed their lifestyle. As a result of lockdown in most countries, a large population of the consumer are oriented towards the online environment, because it is considered to have a much lower risk of covid 19 in terms of direct contact.
If there was no Covid, our digital shopping behavior would not have seen such insane growth. People who were doing offline business, started doing business on Whatsapp, offline newspapers gave way to e-papers, e-commerce became contactless, entertainment again was more about streaming on the same screen as the ones we use for studying online, teachers learnt how to take online classes while students learnt how to take online lectures too. The covid pandemic had obvious and delectable effects on the people’s shopping behaviors.
