Why is my dog shedding so much fur? It is almost abnormal and I’ve never seen her shed so much before. I’ve had her for three years
When shedding is at its peak some times, I highly recommend dog owners to take their dogs to a groomer for a deshedding bath and blowout. They will know exactly what to do to get out most of the undercoat. It won’t eliminate the shedding but it will definitely mitigate it for a few weeks.
It might not be a normal spayed female shedding. If not, is she maybe getting into heat? For most female dogs I know the shedding correlates with their cycle and not necessarily with the seasons. My spayed dog sheds all the time though, and that started about 2 months after she got spayed. She has not stopped until now, which is almost 3years later.
