Do writers on wattpad get paid to write stories on the app?
Of course not. Wattpad is a place where it is common to find lots of spelling and grammar mistakes since people use it as a starting point, which is perfectly alright. Again, it all depends on what you are looking for and what type of writer you are. Most of the Wattpad audience are teens so if that is your target audience, then you’re good to go but writers don’t get paid on the platform.
I have heard that readers give support when it comes to these rookie stories. In other words, they encourage even though the story is full of these basoc mistakes.
It is just a platform for you to show your creativity and writing skills. Writers on Wattpad start from zero, they keep writing and present to you amazing books on the platform. If the book gets a lot and lot of readers, the writer then goes all out publishing the book.
