The Nigerian government has been involved in it even and, allows it to happen by not cooperating with police of other countries who want to investigate. Their post system is corrupt because they know stolen items go through it which have been stolen from Brits and Americans. It’s known because of government involvement and simply because they receive stolen goods to their home addresses, they know nothing will happen. I mean, what do you expect from a country who has security agents that pose as robbers to raid people’s houses only to steal information?

Hello, there are scammers everywhere, in every country you can think of. Nigeria’s case is high because of unemployment. The unemployed youths use their idle time to log into different platforms online and use it to send scam message thereby getting their responder and duped them. The government has failed the youth by not providing them the opportunity to develop real life skills through internships/apprenticeships programs and so, when these youths graduate from university, they have nothing to offer the world and therefore can’t get jobs. But despite the faults from the government, Nigerians need to know that scam is not always and only available means to get rich and live well. They are simply rubbing other innocent people of their hard earned money.
