I recently just lost some weight, due to stress perhaps. I can see the appearance of stretch marks in some areas that they were not before.

When you are overweight you have stretched your skin and when you lose your weight the skins does not shrink back in the same way and certain parts of your skin may well have changed consistency. Skin bouncing back takes a long time and that’s why weight loss should be done slowly to avoid the excess skin sagging too much and giving the skin time to adjust back.
Yes. And of course, stretch marks are normal, especially in women. Stretch marks let you know when either you gain or lose weight. Not everyone has this problem but once you notice that you do have this then you will continue to experience it. What happens is that your skin actually starts to rip, or pull apart but doesn’t go through all of the layers. The marks will lighten with time but will never totally go away.
