In a way, that is true. brave means you have courage to take risk while knowing that you can might fail but still taking it anyway. However, not analyzing a situation before going into it is foolish. We can be brave to do best or give our best which is required in a situation or given condition. You can be brave by accepting that you are ready for any situation.
Having a risky hobby or something doesn’t equate bravery, it just means you like the adrenaline rush. Bravery is not the absence of fear but the mastery of it.
Bravery is doing something despite being scared, or knowing yo could be seriously hurt but do it for the good of others. Would I say your brave if you sky dive and aren’t afraid? Of course, you wouldn’t.
