Will my school gpa be important when I’m looking for a job placement or just my experience will suffice?

Normally, I would say no. Depending on what country you are coming from, different cultures would put a different priority to grades. Experience is something most employers would consider. So learning how to sell your experience, such as what you achieved and what skills you have are important.
Its a good idea to start doing some voluntary work. For example, by working in an NGO as a marketing volunteer for 1 year would give you a good start than simply telling people you have a degree in marketing. Of course, if you’re looking at some more professional jobs such as becoming a doctor or lawyer then its a different story.
GPA counts most to employers if you’re applying for an internship or cooperate job and you’re still in school. When you’re out of school it really only matters for your first job post-college, and even then only in certain situations can it make or break you. If you’re applying for a very competitive entry level job right out of school being able to throw down that you graduated with honors can help you stand out in a big pile of resumes. Also certain tech or finance recruiters who target specific schools might even specify what the minimum graduating GPA is to even be considered for a job. If you had a mediocre GPA any career counselor will tell you to just leave it off your resume completely.
