Cannabis has anti-inflammatory properties, can act as a vasorelaxant and has the ability to reduce pain and anxiety. In combination with other cannabinoids and terpenes, as well as necessary clinical intervention, cannabis has much potential to treat the symptoms of a virus such as COVID-19. Whole plant cannabis extracts have also been shown to reduce blood coagulation.
Cannabis can reduce the anxiety some people are feeling and help them sleep. Also, it has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, but probably not enough to save someone’s life. But every little bit might help. Nonetheless, there are no real evidences that cannabis can save lives in this epidemic, but cannabis truly help some people.
