The benefits that come with being famous are quite obvious and apart from the fact that almost everyone wishes to be famous in one way or the other, it feels good to be remembered for one thing or the other even after death. For me, I want to be famous because I want to be remembered. I think this is the core reason why we all want to be famous, being famous leads to being remembered.
It must be the free stuff for me, and also getting paid to wear and use free stuff just in the name of promotion. There have been times businesses will just throw free everything at radio personalities. Local car dealerships use to give the celebrity party promo teams and radio personalities the use of their newest vehicles. Free tickets to sports, amusement parks, free clothes, purses, jewelry and all sorts of gifts would be sent to the celebrities that were visiting. All that free stuff would lead to more free stuff if the celebrity would mention it in their interviews, or anywhere else.
