I always wonder if women actually get aroused whenever they’re breastfeeding?
It’s not abnormal, because nursing and pumping milk releases oxytocin, the love hormone. This causes a physiological effect that can result in mild arousal for some people. But riding a bus can do that to some men, so it’s also not really a big deal or noteworthy. Having a mild physical reaction isn’t really the same as being turned on. I think it’s worth mentioning just so some poor women don’t freak out that there is something wrong with them if it happens to them.
The first time I breastfed, it was a shock. I didn’t know what to think. After a few times, I found I was getting wet and looked forward to breastfeeding.
