There are a lot of things you can do, but in my experience of having anxiety and treating people who have it, the first step is to be okay with the fact that you have anxiety. To realize that that fear and uncertainty you are experiencing are natural responses to the chaos of life. I find that people who judge their anxiety, or think they shouldn’t have it, tend to only increase their anxious and depressed feelings. It’s okay to feel anxious.
A lot of what was once sales has ended up in marketing because of digital brouhaha, so the idea that closing is only for sales isn’t any longer true. A landing page in many instances is closing someone. Frankly, if you want a very true form of marketing in its original sense then there are a lot of digital jobs which are not that. However, it’s a broad area though.
No, they’re not the same thing as marketing a whole lot more multifaceted. Sales is a small part of the marketing activities of a business enterprise. In general terms, marketing is the process of managing an exchange. You have something you offer for sale. I have something I want or need. When the two come together, an exchange occurs. The actual sale, is the final step of the process leading to the exchange. That doesn’t mean that the actual sales process is minor or easy: it just means that in the overall scheme of the marketing function, it is a small but critical part.
