The internet has made it incredibly easy to find jobs. So for Gen Z, there’s zero reason to truly commit and stay loyal 💯 to one employer even though they wouldn’t bat an eyelash if they have to sack you. The moment I find one that pays better or treats me better, I’m moving to that job. I have no reason to be loyal to my employer. You pay me, I do work for you equivalent to that pay. That’s the extent of our relationship.
As someone who is gen Z, and who has read many reports on how we act now, how we’re projected to act in the future, and how we differ from millenials, I think we will do little in the legal sense of change, rather we would have a more business oriented tone in our history. I believe generation Z just have zero tolerance for bullshit, they know their worth and wouldn’t go for the barest minimum.
