What is the most disturbing thing you’ve ever encountered on the dark web?
I got on the dark web a couple of years ago for the first time, checked out the websites to see how much drugs and other things go for on the black market, just out of curiosity. Then I saw a post about someone selling sex slaves on the dark web. The person advertised that they were in eastern europe, but what really messed up my day was that they was selling sex slaves who were underaged girls that, according to them, had their teeth removed, were blinded, and were made deaf. By doing all this he essentially turned them into sex toys that did the bidding of those that bought them. I never went to that part of the web ever again, it’s such a horrible place.
No one comes across something horrible on the dark web by mistake or accident. You went there to look for it purposely. Technically, the most horrible thing on the darknet is child pornography. But I haven’t seen any during my crawls on the darknet. But I have been into those markets where people sell drugs, weed, weapons and other illegal stuff. Do any of those count as horrible? Oh, I’ve seen ‘contract killers for hire’ ads.
