I’ve never heard of meditation being dangerous. Meditation might bring up anxiety and fear but that isn’t dangerous. Danger implies harm, and I can’t fathom how you can harm yourself by sitting with yourself and getting to know yourself. If you don’t meditate and there are negative things in your mind they are still there, and I feel like that’s just as harmful as not facing them at all.
It can be dangerous for ones ego, and it’s quite probable for one to mistake their true selves for their ego, so it makes sense why one could be deceived to believe meditation is dangerous. However, if one was to look at the world around themselves and see the results of the manic mind, it becomes very clear that the lack of meditation is a much more frightening prospect.
