Credit card companies assess your application based on a number of factors, such as your current income and your credit history. If your credit card application has been refused, it could be that you failed to meet one of the requirements set by the credit card company. These requirements may vary, but you should receive a refusal letter stating the reasons as to why your credit card application has been denied.
When your application for a credit card is rejected, normally you’re entitled to know why it was rejected but they don’t like telling exactly why they reject applications because it helps people game the system. And trust me, that’s definitely frustrating. My only advice would be to wait a few months between applications and just try different banks, they all have different lending criteria.
