Of all the actresses who have played “catwoman” who nailed the role for you?
Actually I’ve only seen Michelle Pfeiffer and Anne Hathaway. I first became a fan because of Michelle Pfeiffer in Batman Returns, even though the characterization is too kooky for me. I avoided Hally Berry’s movie because of bad reviews. In turns of comic accuracy, Anne Hathaway’s portrayal was closest to the canon character. Looking forward to seeing the new Batman and see Zoe Kravitz performance of the catwoman, I heard she nailed it to perfection.
It would always be Anne Hatheway for me, she legit ate up the role. Anne Hatheway did a great job, and she definitely portrayed Catwoman’s inner struggle between her selfish desires and doing the right thing. I still love the transition she does when Bruce calls her out for stealing the pearls. Michelle Pfeiffer was great at portraying Cat-woman’s darker, sexy side. I will always love her portrayal and her costume.
