Well I am not a gamer, but I guess the best way to make money from gaming is by streaming and posting videos of your gameplay on YT and when you feel that you got a decent amount of views and subscribers and you can do Affiliate Marketing, where you pormote products and get money for each sale made through your link. As a gamer you can promote your gaming gadgets, you can do reviews, so basically you’re already using some gaming products, you can just tell people through your channel about them and post your link to those products and make money.
If you’re really great at gaming and you’re looking to monetize it, there are some ways you could go about it; You can stream your games and gameplay on a platform like Twitch. Once you gain a following and reach certain mile stones you can become a partner and get subscribers and donations.Another is to start a youtube channel where you upload youtube videos of you playing the game or tutorials. Then either using a Patreon where people can support you or becoming a add partner and making money from youtube ad-sense. But youtube has been slashing add revenue for the past while and if you start a patreon you will have to provide something for your patrons whether its some kind of private discord server, getting videos earlier or something of the sort. Teaching people how to get better at the game. If you are a professional gamer, or are very good at the game you are playing, some people will pay hourly to learn how to become better at a game. To do this you need to be fairly popular in the games community.
