What are my chances of getting a good paying job even though I’ve got a jail record?

My dad has a felony conviction and have never had a problem getting a job anywhere. I guess it all depends on what the felony was. He prolly won’t land a massive paying job right out of the gates, but everything else can be considered pretty much wide open. It’s advisable to start by applying at jobs for which you have the skills.
Unfortunately most decent jobs will not hire convicted felons who were recently released. its a difficult road and even when employers say a record doesnt disqualify you for a job, it most definitely does. You will probably have to start out at a minimum wage job and establish that you can be an asset to a company before a better opportunity will be available.
