Hypnosis is an incredibly subjective experience. I have always considered it to be, essentially, guided meditation. And meditation does have measurable, beneficial effects on individuals who practice it. There was a time I lost everything in my life. I lost my job, money, home, my love everything. Hypnotherapy helped me a lot to overcome my depression.
Hypnosis can help with many things, including mental stress. The only difficulty is finding a reliable hypnotist. Hypnosis is most effective for dealing with emotionally-based issues. But nothing is for life and the psychological problems that we have often will be with us in a way or another for our whole life, it is however totally possible to manage these with the help of hypnosis.
