No, there really isn’t such obese person who is healthy. Even if it doesn’t affect you right away, on a cellular level heart disease and other ailments will start to develop over a few years. It will become difficult to exercise, which leads to even more obesity. Not being able to move will make it harder to enjoy life, which can make a person sick in the head. Health is also mental; therefore, even if you aren’t physically sick, you can be unwell in your headspace.
It is possible to be obese and healthy; just like it’s possible to smoke and not have lung cancer. Genes may explain why some people are obese and healthy, while others develop diabetes and heart disease. Although, research says over 49% of people with obesity often end up with heart failure.
