I don’t mind independent women. My own is, I don’t want an independent woman who thinks consulting me for advises on important issues translates to me bossing her or an independent woman who thinks she’s always better than me especially if she’s doing better financially. I love me a woman who can handle just about anything on her own, but acknowledges the help I give and appreciates it. But I like the fact that she can get by on her own. A good personality trait. It’s enough energy figuring my own shit out, I don’t want to have to have someone else entirely dependent on me too.
I love independent women. Thankfully, I’ve never experienced the “strong independent woman who don’t need no man” type, because that’s the annoying side of the spectrum. I love independent women who know how to be strong for themselves, feel like they can openly say what they want, but still want and appreciate affection.
