I’ve looked into it for myself a couple of times because I’m larger than the largest size of bras sold in my city and it does sometimes cause me back pain. However, I’ve decided not to do it, at least not until after I’m done having kids. Apparently when you get your breasts surgically reduced in size, they can no longer produce breast milk, so you can’t breastfeed. I’ve read this from personal accounts and articles. I don’t know if that might be an issue for you down the line, but I just thought you should know.
My girlfriend had it done and was very happy with it. She showed me her scars, which after a year were still quiet obvious. You need to be very diligent about using whatever scar minimizing cream your doctor recommends, and know that time is the biggest help with fading them. She didn’t have any complications except she was surprised by how hard her breasts were for the first few months. I’m sure you’re going to be fine. Go for it if that’s what you truly want.
