A person is not allowed to make a will until they are of 18 years old which is the legal age in most states, if not all. Once you are 18, you can decide to make your will anytime. Although many people don’t make a will until they’re well into their old age and they don’t see themselves living on for too long anymore, so they prepare a will that describes how they want their wealth and riches to be shared.

You can draft a will with legal help as from the age of eighteen. Although, a lot of people tend to wait till they’re much more older before delving into that. Having a will is such a good way to share wealth when one is no more but I hear a lot of people say stuff like “they’re not dying yet so why a will?” It’s not until a person is about to die before you create a will. If you’ve worked hard all your life building a business, it’s only wise that you note down who will help you sustain such business while you’re gone unless you’d like the business to die once you die.
