Abuja, the federal capital of Nigeria, home to a large population of Nigerian politicians and upper class.

The wealth in the state is evident and as such, it’s no wonder why it has a large population of ashewo.

The term ashewo, with origins from the yoruba locals, is used to describe prostitutes or commercial sex workers.

These women called Ashewo operate in every corner of the state as they enjoy a large patronage regardless that it is situated in the northern part of Nigeria.

Abuja boosts of designated locations that you can find them in large numbers openly or discreetly plying their trade.

These places are called the ashewo joints in the state.

To mention but a few; the list below covers some popular ones. However, due to the rising increase in Ashewo joints, it will be impossible to have the total number of joints.

Moving forward, these are the ashewo quarters popularly known in Abuja.

(1) Chris Garden Abuja

It is Chris Garden, a popular commercial sex spot in Abuja, where women of sizes, ages and shapes compete for attention all dressed in provocative outfits and weird makeup to woo a man.

Chris Garden, popularly known as a haven for prostitutes in the state was set up as a bar but today, it is arguably one of the biggest – and perhaps oldest – sex centres in Abuja. Located in Jabi district.

The name ‘Eden’ is one of a kind. it ranks amongst most glowing recreations and gardens In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where one could get anything you want for relaxation.

From enjoying life band, suya, shawama, fish, drinks (alcohol and soft) to games like table tennis, snooker and live television matches, area are a few available conventional facilities at the Garden, for leisure. fun seekers throng the place for relaxation. Eden is also heaven female forks known as ‘Ashawo’ or prostitutes. They are also fondly known as sharp girls while others call them ‘mamas.
