Whether we like it or not, everyone has vices. These are bad habits we tend to display some of the time. While some people have control over these habits, some don’t. However, the ability to let go of these bad habits one after the other will always be golden. Dropping those habits only means we want to be better persons than we already are.

Growing older naturally comes with letting go those bad habits you have. As you grow older, you tend to drop those habits to become a better person. When I was in high school, myself and my friends used to go to stores to steal stuff. We used to do it for the fun of it and to see who had the best stealing skills. Also, I dropped the habit of yelling back at my parents whenever they’re scolding me. I had the habit of yelling back at them, it sort of made me feel no one could control me. Growing older, I started managing my anger pretty well. I can never be caught shouting or screaming at someone just to express my anger. I realized talking about issues helps a lot instead of just yelling.
The first thing I did towards dropping my vices was to own up. I owned up my vices and agreed to the fact that I was a shorty person. Then, I decided it was time to change. Of course I didn’t drop my vices all at the same time.
I used to covet over anything and everything. I was a terrible liar too. My lies were so bad, that I didn’t know what to believe about myself anymore. Pride and anger are vices I dropped recently. I realized while dropping these vices, I became peaceful with myself and people around me.
