Not telling will blatantly come out to stop its believers from getting the covid vaccine. Only individuals can make that decision on their irrespective of their belief system. I’m not a Christian and I guess they can decide what they believe on their own, but it certainly doesn’t say “thou shalt not get a Covid vaccine” anywhere in the Bible. If you’re from a sect that doesn’t use modern medicine or something then you can make a case, but if you’ve had your polio vaccine and have ibuprofen in your medicine cabinet, then it’s a little late in the game to pretend that not getting a Covid vaccine is part of your faith tradition.
In the case of covid, there were no religions that openly spoke against the vaccines. Although some individuals sold their grounds against the vaccination. But some religions can be truly anti-science as they see vaccinations as meddling with god’s plan.
As some believe that in the process of making these vaccines, fetuses are sometimes used and they often come from abortion. You already know how religion frowns upon abortion.
