Mostly brilliant folks are taken to be nerds, but are all nerds brilliant?
Apparently nerds are brilliant but socially awkward persons. All nerds are supposedly smart people, I mean isn’t that what qualifies them as being a nerd in the first place? They are smart, clever and intelligent, but socially awkward of course. Nerds are seen to excel in areas that others would seem uncool or uninteresting.
Being a nerd does not automatically translate to being smart. I’ve met quite a couple of nerds that ain’t exactly smart/intelligent. Of course except nerd means something else that I’m not understanding. Although it’s very common needs to be brilliant. But that doesn’t nullify the fact that there are some unintelligent nerds but nerds still.
