The only issue i have is that you sort of generalized, you should not. A lot of people made assumptions about me when i was much younger based on my looks, coupled with the fact that i was blonde, most of the assumptions were wrong and baseless. Good looking people do often find acceptance that is dependent on their kindness or their goodness or their accomplishments. If the person is already inclined to be mean, that behaviour might get a pass due to his or her looks. Just looks do not make people mean, but still, there are many good looking people who are mean but naturally.
I think being beautiful/handsome is a massive advantage in so many ways. They have always been made to feel special and so they believe that they are better, and so society largely bends to give them a better, easier life. Also if some one feels inferior to someone because of their lesser looks the hot person is in put into the position of being superior and so will act accordingly. However if you assert what I truly believe that we are all equal then you are demanding respect without being rude and so they must be nicer to you, if not, well then yes that person is terrible even if you gave them an opportunity to prove that they can be pleasant.
