I use too much money shipping my goods, most times I end up not making profit and even if I do, my customers complain that my goods are expensive. How can I reduce the cost of shipping my goods?
You can become a member, this will give you a good leverage over a non-member. There are some e-commerce sites offer memberships. Members receive access to the newest releases and best deals before nonmember shoppers. In many cases, these deals include discounted rates for shipping. Sometimes, memberships are free, while you have to pay a fee for others. However, if you find yourself on the website often, paying a modest annual membership fee can save you quite a bit of money in the long run. A perfect example of this is an Amazon Prime membership. Amazon charges $12.99 per month or $119 for an annual membership and offers free two-day shipping on Prime-eligible products. However, with an Amazon membership, there are perks outside free shipping.
You probably are not buying in bulk, try buying in bulk – luckily, there are ways to turn the shipment nightmare into a money-saving fairy tale: rather than playing it small, you can reduce the spending by buying in larger quantities. When you buy in a bulk, whether it’s the purchase of boxes or packing materials, you can negotiate a much lower price this way. If you don’t have the resources to buy in bulk, you could team up with like minded individuals who don’t mind teaming up with you for the purpose of cutting down shipping fee. It’s a win win for everyone, so why not.
