PTSD is a normal reaction to an abnormal and extreme life threatening or violent experiences like war, accident, abuse, rape, war for combat veterans. Ptsd patients will often relive events as if they are actually happening in the present moment. Emotionally and psychologically normal people will, at least in majority of cases, develop PTSD. It is important to understand that it is not PTSD, but the preceding incident, that is really an issue.

The cause of PTSD is a caused by a severe traumatic experience that your brain cannot deal with on an emotional level, so to compensate, it causes the body to overreact when triggered by certain outside stimuli such as loud noises, smells, and or every day normalities that reminds the victim of that event and causes severe panic that disrupts and if not addressed, can destroy a person’s life.
