I studied in Unilag (university of Lagos) which is a government owned institution, and I know for a fact that they don’t give scholarships at the entry level. Further into your education, and depending on your academic excellence, you can choose to leverage on that by applying for scholarships awarded by organizations, bodies or companies. However, I think there are schools in the Northern part of Nigeria that award scholarships irrespective of where you are from. I know that university of maiduguri was awarding full funded scholarships at some point. However, you have to be wary of that because the university is located in the capital of Borno state which is where the insurgents (Boko Haram) majorly strike their attack and in the past, they’ve attacked the university. I’m not entirely certain, but I think Ahmadu Bello University gives out scholarships as well. The university is located in Zaria (Kaduna State).
But then again, this begs the question as to why as an European, you’ll want to study here. You’ll need to first understand the reason why and then consider a range of factors to determine whether or not it’s okay. On the other hand, we don’t exactly have the best educational system and you need to think deeply about your interim and future goals and how studying in Nigeria would fit into the equation.

There should be mutual respect, not environments where unnecessary upmanship, polarization and favoritism existed. Females like to be respected as much as all the other guys. Respect them by creating a respectful environment for everyone. Don’t pull them down publicly in meetings, yell at them, humiliate them, etc. Create a collaborative environment and do not tolerate those who break this, even if it is your chief architect, Head of engineering, etc. Don’t penalize people if someone does not get an aspect of development or has a different opinion. Give women equal chance to present their work during meetings, cross department gatherings, etc. And Do not interrupt them or laugh at them while they are speaking. If others do, correct them. Send them to conferences, encourage them to participate in meetings, etc. Present these opportunities as recognition for their career and contributions. Publicly acknowledge them as much as you acknowledge the guys. Make their accomplishments visible.
