The caffeine will constrict the vessels. Another possibility is that you are becoming dehydrated through the night. You might set an alarm and drink some water a few hours before you normally wake up. It could also be one of many things like, blood pressure, reaction to medication, uncomfortable sleeping positions, exercise or lack of exercise

      It’s not the drinking beer, it’s what people who drink a lot of beer do: sit around and do nothing. If you ate a lot of pasta and sat around and did nothing, you’d likely get a big belly.       It’s not the drinking beer, it’s what people who drink a lot of beer do: sit around and do nothing. If you ate a lot of pasta and sat around and did nothing, you’d likely get a big belly. I had an uncle who was a hard worker, who didn’t drink a lot, but he had a beer belly. Just was where he added weight. If you notice, men tend to add weight above their waist, and women below, that’s just where we add weight. So while drinking beer can result in a beer belly, that’s not necessarily the cause nor necessarily the result. Keep active, limit your consumption and you will be good.
