      For me, I always knew something was wrong, always knew I had this obsessiveness over morbidity and abuse and trauma, but internalized the idea that I was seeking it all for attention. My trauma realization was more about peeling off the toxic layers of self-protection rather than actually realizing I had been severely hurt. Still feels crazy how I could have not known all the things I know now, regardless.

On the other hand if you’re on steroids and you stop lifting yes you will lose a significant amount of muscle Good news is, once you’ve built the muscle it’s much easier to get it back. What took you a year to gain from scratch will only take you about 2 months to get back in shape.
