Very selective schools have so many applicants of such high quality that they don’t need to consider anyone with less than stellar records. Other schools, however, have a broader range of applicants and are often willing to admit people who show positive signs but may have had some stumbles along the way. I highly suggest you apply to as many as you can, you will surely get in.
