I believe only women who actually experienced FMG can explicitly answer this question. But based on my knowledge, it depends on the extent of the damage to the external clitoris. However, female sexual pleasure also comes from vaginal stimulation which includes part of the clitoris which extends from outside inward toward the vagina and from the general experience of intimacy and sharing affection. While I oppose female circumcision especially without full and free consent, the woman can still have hope of some pleasure and satisfaction during sex, and from the sex. I hear that some advances in corrective surgery are even being made.
