Buying an extra car in your name that you let your child use is not a horrible idea, but buying it and putting it in their name is a really bad idea because you can no longer take it away should you need to. Oh, and in some states you cannot put a car that is in someone else’s name on your insurance so the car would have to have its own insurance policy in the name of the owner. with an under 25 person, that gets quite expensive. Much more expensive than adding a driver and car to your policy.

Probably because they value other aspects of the relationship over marital fidelity. I think that is a valid personal choice. Maybe stability, security, children, financial concerns, faith, appearances, or complacency are more important. Maybe that future they planned together looks brighter than the one they could have apart. Maybe that care is a higher priority than sex. Maybe they simply do not believe in divorce. I think that individuals should weigh their benefits against their losses, and be happy with whatever decisions they make in regard to relationships. Regret is the real killer.
