This leads to microbial growth and tooth decay. Have more of abrasive foods like carrots, apples, pear. These fruits and vegetables stimulate the production of saliva and saliva is protective in nature. More saliva production lesser decay Inadequate oral hygiene or brushing technique. It is just not about brushing the teeth twice daily. Brushing teeth the right way matters the most. The correct method of toothbrushing is the modified bass technique. Build up of plaque or tartar on the teeth. The microorganism build up in the tartar cause decay of the teeth.

Finally, once the can has been opened, if the contents are not consumed immediately, they should be kept refrigerated and not kept for more than a day or two.
