Adults don’t have to be perfect, just be willing to listen, learn, grow and change. Children depend on many adults as they grow up. Parents, relatives, teachers and child care workers all provide children with love, support and guidance. No one wants to see children grow up with fear, anger or neglect. But no one is born knowing how to care for children. Sometimes we make mistakes that hurt them.

High expectations also dictate our response to the little things in life and our capacity to be resilient. For example, if you have the high expectation that things should always be easy and go your way in life, then something small like the bus being two minutes late one morning can mean you show up at work in a bad mood that lasts all day.

I won’t exactly say you’re unlovable because I’ve not walked in your shoes. But I’d say you must accept the fact. Not just accept it but also don’t try to change it. Continue to be yourself. Stop trying to find validation from the people around you, you’ll only get disappointed . Find validation from yourself only! Find all the things you believe you have a talent in and do them. Do what it makes you happy. By doing that you will start believing in yourself and you will learn not to care if people like you or not. Your self esteem will rise and most likely the attitude of people around you will change.
