I had snuck out of the hospital to attend the funeral of a very good friend, I was in pretty bad shape but the hospital wouldn’t re-admit me. Instead they prescribed a strong dose of codeine. It made me higher than a kite and immobilized me in the house, but ever since, normal doses of codeine have had little effect on me, understand that codeine is a narcotic. It is also true that derivatives of codeine are probably the most abused narcotic out there; oxycontin, etc. When I have said I didn’t want codeine, I have usually ended up with codeine anyway, although it often has had a different name or formulation that made the codeine component less obvious.

there is most likely nothing wrong with you. Ask yourself this question- Do I work out a lot? Am I very active? Am I very skinny? If you can answer these questions with a yes then most likely nothing is wrong with you. However if you answer no then I would recommend talking to a trusted adult or mature friend and seeing specialist. Also many women do not get their period and if you don’t there’s nothing “wrong” with you. You can always adopt kids. I was in your boat when I was younger too. I got my period when I was 17. Remember as an adolescent you are always going to be pressured to be perfect or to be “right”, in the end its always up to you to decide what is right and what’s wrong. So look at not getting your period with a positive mind set- at least you won’t ever bleed through your white sweatpants.
