You can tell if someone’s IQ is above average from the way the person speaks. Appropriate use of a large vocabulary, multi-clause sentence structure, and clearly delineated subjects, objects, and tenses, may indicate a higher IQ. Of course this does not work the same way for non-native speakers of the language, and there are reasons —e.g. learning handicaps or lack of early access to education— why a high-IQ might not come across through speech patterns.

Compensating organ donors has more downsides to it than positive. It encourages the stealing of organs. If a rich person is willing to pay enough there is someone out there willing enough to forcefully take someone seriously organs just to get that money. Also, it changes the priorities of who would be getting the organs. Ask yourself if a rich old alcoholic guy or a small, young, innocent girl whose family doesn’t have a lot of money should need a kidney transplant. The old guy has a lot of money so he would probably get the organ before the young girl when you can pretty objectively say that the girl should get it over the old guy.

I don't have kids so I don't think about it very much. That said, I grew up watching old Looney Tunes shows my dad had on tape. I don't know a single person who tried to imitate them or any other cartoon out there. I'm sure that such kids exist, but if you do something stupid just because you saw itRead more
