The first thing I look out for is my seat. First if you can decide on whether you want a window or aisle seat. Second, there will be situations that will or will not occur. Some noises that you may not recognize. They may be the landing gear or the flaps on the wings being adjusted. They all are operated by hydraulic motors. Turbulence may slightly rock the aircraft. That is normal too. Just enjoy yourself and bring your iPhone and earplugs so you can divert your attention. Perhaps some nuts or candy too. There are restrooms. Feel free to use them if needed. The last thing is to listen carefully to the video or what the flight attendants say. They are crucial to your experience.
