Decisions surrounding changing or not changing a name are highly cultural. Expecting a woman to take a man’s last name is one cultural tradition among many. Because governments create methods of tracking people and controlling benefits and managing resources based on cultural traditions and expectations, decisions surrounding changing a name are highly political. In some cases, the politics are centered on the rights of women. In other cases, they are about religious and cultural freedom. As a feminist and advocate for human rights, I believe that every person has a right to make their own decision about what their name shall, or shall not, be.

He is such a badass character and we would think he is truly a badass if we were seeing this TV show from the perspective of the police or if he was the main character. But in the context of this show, he is a very scary, dangerous, cold-blooded guy. I agree with you that he is skilled at his job, and is useful for creating some drama for the show.

I stepped on a wire in my bare feet and didn’t feel a thing or even know that I had done that until the wound got so infected (about a week later) that I had to go to the ER to find out what was going on.
After a butt load of antibiotics and next day emergency surgery, the wire was pulled out of my foot. I then was laid up in a long-term care facility for 6 months while the wound healed.
Along with not feeling much pain, I also have trouble balancing, due to the nerves being dead. I have to do physical therapy to help strengthen what nerves I have in my lower legs.
