Overprotective parenting is very harmful for the development of the child. In some cases children lose their confidence and become dependent on their parents for small things. In other cases they start hiding things from their parents and get more influenced by their peers. No matter whether they are right or wrong. Coz they feel suffocated by their parents behaviour. Parents should attend some counselling sessions for better parenting techniques and to improve themselves. They should give appropriate freedom to their children so that children can become responsible and confident. Children should have their own space and time. Parents should trust and support their child’s decision. Guide the children, don’t impose the decisions on them . These all will help the children to become a better person and parents to become a better guardian, mentor and above all a wonderful parent.

Even if you’re scoping someone with the intention of having a casual fling with them, don’t invite them over on the first date itself. Giving them access to your home makes you vulnerable because it reveals a lot of your personal information in a very short span of time. Meet at a restaurant you frequent, where the staff knows you. So that if things go south, you can reach out to them for help. Also, let someone know about your movement, it could be anyone, your friend your family, just let someone know. Always be alert. Observe what’s happening around you and always keep an eye on your food and drink. Don’t ever leave it unattended.
