My last relationship. I would have preferred to have talked to her face to face, but one of the reasons I needed to break up with her was because she wasn’t making time to come and see me in person. We hadn’t seen each other in four weeks when I broke up with her. So while it wasn’t my first choice of ways to break up, it was pretty much the only way I could, without driving to her house and having this conversation with her with her mom in the next room.

Such policy should do much to eliminate the inherent risk of employing women, and should do much to level the playing field between men and women in the workforce. Honestly, I think people who choose work over family should be compensated for it. But as it stands now, men have the opportunity to father children without any substantial interference with their careers, which is unfair because women can never have that opportunity.
