From personal experience, I get dark circles when I don’t get enough sleep, I end up looking like I aged ten years overnight. Now, what about those times you woke up from a glorious, restful slumber with this panda-like pigment? If your dark circles don’t beat it after a good night’s sleep, there are a few other devious factors at play. You might be able to place blame on genetics , sun damage, age, allergies, or lifestyle choices. When it comes to beauty concerns, tired eyes are at the top of my list – Right next to acne and wrinkles, of course. The skin under the eyes is naturally thinner than the rest of the face, making blood and veins under the surface more obvious. This is called Peri-orbital hyperpigmentation and a common condition seen in dermatology offices. Age exacerbates this issue as the skin becomes even more delicate.

Alcohol contains lots of calories- 7 calories per gram, which is almost as many as a gram of fat. Plus, additional calories can be in added mixer drinks, such as cola or tonic water. Alcohol contains lots of calories- 7 calories per gram, which is almost as many as a gram of fat. Plus, additional calories can be in added mixer drinks, such as cola or tonic water. A standard glass of wine can contain as many calories as a piece of chocolate, and a pint of lager has about the same number of calories as a packet of crisps? So, if you’re trying to lose weight you need to think about what you are drinking as well as what you are eating. Drinking 4 bottles of wine a month adds up to a yearly consumption of around 27,000kcal, which is equivalent to eating 48 Big Macs per year. Drinking 5 pints of lager each week adds up to 44,200kcal over a year, equivalent to eating 221 doughnuts.
