I am of the belief that in and of themselves, eating some carbs at night will not make you fatter. It depends on several other factors including the type of carbs, the quanity, your overall energy balance, your level of fitness, what you eat with them, and even your genetics. Having said that, it is not optimal to consume carbs immediately prior to going to bed because of the metabolic response. But in the big picture, if your getting fat, it is far more likely because of several other factors including over consuming simple carbs in general.

Adhd is a disorder that has to do with the way our brains filter things out. Human brains take in so much as once that we can’t process it all, to help we have a filter that deems what is important and what isn’t. When you walk in to a room your brain has about milliseconds to process every detail in the room so you can understand it. You filter would take the sound of someone say tapping a pencil or tying their hair up as non-important and places it in the background category, putting more pressing matter up front like let’s say a paper airplane flying at you. You can focus on the paper airplane ahead rather than getting hit by all three at once and not being able to sort it.
