Those who suffer from PTSD due to a trauma caused by other people might find solace in isolation, since there are no or fewer trigger factors. Only in isolation might they be able to feel completely relaxed if their triggers are from other people. Still, isolation can also cause anxiety for many people with PTSD and they might seek company even though it’s not good company, just to have someone near them. You should always take your lump. If you really don’t care that you cheated; then, you should just break up with them because then, you can’t be trusted. No one deserves to be in a relationship with a cheater and be treated like a fool on top of everything else.
