It really depends on how mature your daughter is. The language is nothing to worry about. I can almost guarantee you that your daughter hears worse at school every day. It really depends on how mature your daughter is. The language is nothing to worry about. I can almost guarantee you that your daughter hears worse at school every day. I don’t know if you were worried about this but if you were, don’t be. Yeahhhh, the rape and suicide scenes are pretty disturbing. There’s no nudity except for male buttocks but the scenes can still be hard to watch. The suicide scene clearly shows Hannah cutting herself with razors. However, there is a warning before each episode that contains graphic material. Finally, there’s the issue of glorifying suicide. Personally, I didn’t feel like that was the case when I was watching the show. After reading what other people thought about this show, I can see how it may be interpreted as suicide glorification. Hannah does appear to become empowered because of her suicide but if your child is mature enough, they may be able to see through that. The idea of blaming other people for Hannah’s suicide is also something that your child may or may not see through.
