Given a reasonable vetting system, limits on ownership and secure storage I see nothing wrong with owning, firing, collecting and having an interest in guns. If you live in a country where there is an adundance of game and hunting is an acceptable pastime I see nothing wrong with licencing hunters to shoot in appropriate areas.
